The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with the National Institutes for Water Resources (NIWR), has released their annual 104g Request for Proposals. Proposals are being accepted for three separate funding opportunities:
- 104g General - Up to $310,000
- PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) - Up to $309,000
- Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) - Up to $346,875
Investigators in Iowa must coordinate with the Iowa Water Center to submit proposals. Interested researchers are encouraged to complete a Notice of Intent by September 4th. Final proposals are due to the Iowa Water Center on September 11th. Find the full RFPs and submission instructions here.
